
Introducing a Swiss Staple to Local American Markets
Raclette Corner
Raclette is a traditional Swiss dish that involves heating cheese on a specialized tabletop grill and scraping the melted cheese onto bread, potatoes, meat, or vegetables. While widely popular in the European Alps, the dish serves a niche market in the United States. As an intern for Raclette Corner, I managed the company's Instagram account, creating original photographic content to best showcase the company's products. Additionally, I developed recipes and distributed them through strategic blogging.
With my social media plan, I educated general audiences while engaging distinct segments already interested in raclettes. These segments included ex-patriates from France, Germany, and Switzerland and chefs specializing in traditional alpine cuisine.​
